Two Fellas Grill

I just bought the luau from two fellas grill...it is amazing. I haven't stopped by there in a while cause the funds are running a little low. But today I had to today. This one has pineapple, ham, chicken tenders, mozzarella, and honey mustard sauce in it. I suggest everyone go to Two fellas and give this one a try.

Job Hunt

Now that soccer is finished, the job hunt begins. I would like to find something I can do for about 15-20 hrs a week to keep me busy, and to keep my head above water so to speak. It is so easy to find myself eating out multiple times a week and then buying beverages to drink on the weekends. It adds up quickly, and odd jobs here and there wont allow me to keep living that way. I have come to two conclusions. One, I need to spend less money on dining out and create a better budget. And two, I need to find a job that pays a decent wage. I really enjoy working and especially working outdoors or with my hands. Hopefully I can find something along those lines. But at this point I would take just about anything that provided some sort of income. So the hunt continues, and hopefully I will find something I enjoy!

Halloween

Halloween is such a fun time of the year! Carving pumpkins, going to the apple orchard, watching scary movies, and finding the best costume are all things I find myself doing around the end of October. Except this year, I haven't found the time to do any of these things :/. With soccer going on, my nights have been booked, and my weekends spent traveling to matches. I very much enjoyed my Club Soccer season here at Western, but I am so ready to have some freedom to do other things. Now that soccer is finished hopefully I can cram in going to the apple orchard, carving a pumpkin, baking the seeds to eat, and find a costume while performing well in school all before the festivities start Thursday night!

 It is funny to me how much people will spend on costumes, when in reality they will probably only ever wear that outfit 1-2 times. I used to buy the costumes from the Halloween USA stores, but now I find it less expensive to just make one myself. However, since I only have a few days to do so, I better figure out what I am going to be, and FAST!

Class Blog

I am a little behind on the papers for our English class. Would anyone care to post the papers we have done thus far on my blog? I have done a few of them, but I know I am missing a few as well.

This class is actually enjoyable for me compared to the English course I took my Freshman year when I was a student at Hope College. Unfortunately the credits did not transfer from Hope, so that is why I am retaking an English Course here at Western. I like the format Professor Moses follows. We have written more papers in this class, however I like that we can choose the topic we write on. It is difficult to write papers with strong and clear content when your not passionate about the topic. Hopefully we all have some good final drafts by the end of this course!  

I completely forgot that we had to blog each week :/. Time to start doing extras from now on. But since its tuesday and I can write about whatever I choose. I play club soccer here at Western Michigan University. We tied Michigan States Mens team on Friday night, who are the leaders in our division. Then we took it to Central Michigan Sunday and beat them 2-1 (Screw the Chips). We have won enough games to make Regionals in Indianapolis this weekend!! We start off Saturday morning at 830am against Madison Wisconsin and then play Cincinnati at 1230pm. If we win both, we play in the regional finals Sunday morning at 9am. Winning that game would send us to Arizona to play in the National Semi Final and Final matches. The more support the better. Doesnt mean you have to make the trip to Indy, but encouraging players on the Club team would be greatly appreciated! Lets Go Broncos!
